Yilin Zhu is a Chinese American tattoo artist who established Art Spirit Tattoo Studio in Oak Park in 2021. He learned art from his father during childhood and was passionate about becoming an artist. He attended an art high school and later earned his MFA degree from the Art Institute of Chicago.
He started doing commissioned art and began learning tattooing in 2014, eventually becoming an apprentice at Lucky Kat Tat.
Over his decade-long career, Yilin Zhu has become a versatile artist, with a strong focus on illustrative realism. He loves creating customized tattoos that blend his artistic creativity with your ideas.
